Lesson Policies

Booking and Payment

1. All lesson bookings must be made through our online booking system.
2. Payment for individual lessons is due at the time of booking.
3. Block bookings require full payment in advance to secure the discounted rate.
4. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

1. Lesson cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
2. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at the full lesson rate.
3. For block bookings, missed lessons without proper notice are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.
4. In exceptional circumstances (illness, emergency), we may offer a make-up lesson at our discretion.

Lesson Location and Setup

1. For in-home lessons, students must provide a suitable space for instruction (adequate lighting, seating, and minimal distractions).
2. Students are expected to have their instrument and necessary materials ready before the lesson begins.
3. The instructor reserves the right to refuse service if the home environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

Student Responsibilities

1. Students should practice regularly between lessons as recommended by the instructor.
2. Students are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for their lessons.
3. For minor students, a parent or guardian should be present in the home during lessons.
4. Students should maintain their instruments in playable condition.

Instructor Commitments

1. The instructor will arrive on time and fully prepared for each lesson.
2. If the instructor needs to cancel a lesson, as much advance notice as possible will be given, and a make-up lesson will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
3. The instructor will provide appropriate learning materials and guidance tailored to each student's needs and goals.

Additional Information

1. Lesson rates are subject to annual review and may be adjusted with notice to existing students.
2. Block booking discounts are only applicable for lessons taken on a weekly basis.
3. Gift certificates are available and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
4. We reserve the right to discontinue lessons with students who consistently violate these terms and conditions.
